What does this service do for me?
We allow online vendors with their own web stores to sell digital download items, like e-books and software, to their own customers. You can sell from our large catalogue of e-books and software, or you can add your own digital downloads and use our service to provide a secure method of giving your customers simple access to their purchases. With our company, you own the customer, not us... our service is here to help vendors supply a secure and simple means of delivery for digital downloads.

How do you deliver the digital items to my customers?
Once you enter the order online at our vendor web site,
or an order is received through our automated system, we
take care of the rest. We e-mail the customer on your behalf
with instructions on how to download their order (it is
not e-mailed to them as attachments, to prevent fraud). They simply click the
web link in the e-mail, or visit our web site and enter their e-mail address.
We check their order history, and provide all their orders
for immediate download. Customers can come back any time to
re-download their orders.
The actual customer digital download files can be hosted at our
web site, or externally... it's completely up to the vendor
who supplied the download. Downloads hosted with us are placed
in a secure location and cannot be downloaded by customers
directly without going through the order process. The download
URLs for externally hosted files are also hidden from the user
so they cannot download them directly.
Our system is secure. First, customers must enter their
e-mail address to be able to access their download orders online.
Secondly, our system records every download, and the visitor's IP
address. Thirdly, if we see more than four downloads for an item,
the order is 'flagged' in our system as suspicious and immediately
reviewed by our staff: if we suspect fraud (for example, different
users accessing the downloads), then we disable the order. Vendors
can also access their orders online, and choose to disable or enable orders.
Vendors get their own private login id and password for our online
system. Vendors can manually enter download fulfillment orders
for each customer transaction or sale. Once entered, the customer
is notified by e-mail with complete download instructions.
We also have a fully automated HTTPPOST download fulfillment
system that you can hook into your online stores. This completely
bypasses the need for you to manually process download fulfillment
orders. Connecting your online store to our system is as easy
as loading a private and secure HTTPPOST URL with the order details.
Yes. Once you create a vendor account with us, you
can provide us with your own e-books, software or other digital download
items to add to our system. Once added, you will be able to place
download fulfillment orders for them.
For your own digital downloads that you provide, the cost
is only
$2.50 per download fulfillment order (US. For downloads up to 15 megabytes
in size. Higher fees for larger downloadsm such as movies).
For download
items in our catalogue, the price varies but is generally 60%
of the retail price (i.e. you are paid a 40% commission or affiliate
fee for each sale). Since we are providing complete on-going download support
to the customer for their order, all you have to do is process the
sale, collect payment, and enter the order with us!
When you create an account with us, you provide a valid
credit card (VISA or Mastercard). Every month, we will
bill your credit card account for the download fulfillment orders placed.
Yes. Once you have added your own download items to your
vendor account, we can make them accessible for sale with other vendors.
In this situation, you can assign the payee commissions that
you accrue for the sale by the other vendors (i.e. the money they owe
you for the sale of the download item that they processed).
For such sales, we mailout cheques to our payees monthly (when the
total owing is $100 US or more).
We only use the customer information with a download
fulfillment order to e-mail the customer their download link for their
purchases. We never contact the customer directly or give
out or sell customer information. The customer information belongs
to our vendors, not us!

Yes... we have an in-house technical team ready to convert your
existing or new print books into professional Adobe Acrobat PDF e-books.
e-Books are a great way to avoid the huge up-front production
costs for print works, while getting far more profit from each sale compared
to traditional print-book delivery markets (often 5 to 10 times the profit
margin with direct e-book sales).
Cost for e-book production varies, and is done on a fixed-quote basis.
Typical production costs for a 100 to 200 page work provided in
electronic format (such as Word) are around $2,000 to $4,000 US.

Yes... we have a secure HTTPPOST callback mechanism that can be
associated with downloads. For example, you can add a download
to our system that generates customer software registration codes
based on the customer information. You can even require a special
custom field that is provided when the fulfillment order is
entered.
